Marthandam Chicken Curry

Chicken ¼ kg
Garlic 3 pods
Ginger ¼ tsp
Green chilli 1
Onion 1
Tomato 1
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Cumin powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Garam masala ¼ tsp
coconut milk ¼ cup
Salt and oil as required

1.      In a pan add oil,onion,green chilli,ginger and garlic.saute well
2.      Add tomatoes and cook till it blends well
3.      Add chicken and saute well
4.      Add  turmeric powder,garam masala,coriander powder,cumin powder and salt
5.      Add required water
6.      Cook till the chicken is done
7.      Finally add coconut milk and cook for 2 min
Serve hot with rice
