Spring onion prawn masala

This is one of the recipe which has its origin from burma.every commerical town of tamilnadu will have a locality naming burma colony where people from burma or whose anchestors from burma resides.i learned this recipe from one of the aunt who came from burma and now residing in my native.though not much of variatin from our ethnic recipes it tastes comes the recipe
Prawns cleaned 500 gms
Spring onion chopped 1 cup
Tomatoes 1
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Curry leaf 2 sprigs
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Fennel powder 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Cumin seeds ½ tsp
Salt and oil as required
1.     In a pan add oil,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,curry leaf and spring onion.saute well
2.     Add tomatoes,ginger garlic paste and salt.blend well
3.     Add turmeric powder,fennel powder and prawns
4.     Allow it to cook
5.     Add chilli powder,coriander powder and toss well
6.     Once the prawn is done add coriander leaves and toss well
Garnish with springonions and serve
