Kovai Chicken gravy


Ingredients
Chicken ½ kg
Onion 1
Coriander leaves ¼ cup
Dry red chilli 10
Curry leaves 2 sprigs
Cinnamon 1
Cloves 2
Cardamom 2
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Coconut paste ½ cup
Salt and oil as required
Preparation
1.     In a pan add oil,cinnamon,cloves,cardamom,onion,curry leaf,coriander leaves and dry red chillies.saute well and ground to a fine paste
2.     In a pan add oil,ground paste,ginger garlic paste,coriander powder,turmeric powder and salt.saute well
3.     Add chicken and 1 cup of water
4.     Cook till the chicken is done
5.     Finally add coconut paste and mix well
6.     Once it starts boiling, turn off the flame
Serve with rotis,idli,rice or rotis
