Parangipettai Prawn gravy


Ingredients
Prawns cleaned 200 gms
Onion chopped 1
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic 5 pods
Tomato 2
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Pepper corns 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Coconut ¼ cup
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Salt and oil as required
Preparation
1.      In a pan add oil,cumin seeds,pepper corns,coriander seeds,ginger,garlic and coconut.roast and grind it to a fine paste  by adding water
2.      In a pan add oil,cumin seeds,curry leaves and onion.saute well
3.      Add tomatoes and cook till it blends well
4.      Add the ground paste,turmeric  powder and prawns.saute well
5.      Add little water and salt
6.      Cook till the prawn is done
serve with chapathi or rice
